What VowKit processes

VowKit processes the authenticated Canva user and team identifiers supplied in verified Canva user tokens so it can provide the app, enforce the free-creation limit, manage Lifetime access, and associate hosted timer records with the correct account. These identifiers remain backend account data and are not exposed in public timer URLs.

Countdown data

Editable countdown settings are stored inside the Canva design as app-element data. If LIVE hosting is enabled and a user creates a hosted timer, VowKit stores the target date/time, timezone, display wording, visual settings, timer status, and an unguessable public slug required to render that timer.

Payments

When the Lifetime offer is enabled, payment is processed by Stripe. VowKit may retain the Stripe session/customer reference, amount, currency, payment event identifiers, and the entitlement link required to deliver and audit the purchase. VowKit does not store full payment-card details.

Infrastructure and logs

Canva, Cloudflare, Stripe, and any enabled embed provider may process ordinary service, security, and request metadata under their own terms. Server secrets are stored outside the Canva frontend.

Deletion and disconnection

When Canva sends the configured user-uninstall webhook, VowKit removes Canva-associated app data for that user and detaches retained purchase audit records from the Canva identifier. Some payment/security records may be retained where reasonably required for accounting, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
